Aphrodite Sands - Mandria (Paphos)

Great place with amenities like wi-fi, outdoor swimming pool, and fitness centre. The staff was helpful during my first stay, recommending great dining spots. I highly recommend it for a relaxing getaway.

The resort consists of 5 to 6 blocks of apartments, (ground, first and second floor). Some of them are privately owned some belong to a company called Waterside Resort which rents them. There are two main swimming pools the big one is shallow, whereas the small one deep. Under the pool there is the spa centre. We did not use it so no opinion about it. The resort is located in Mandria village you definitely need a car. Our two bedroom apartment was fully equipped, so we could cook our food. There is a washing machine so you can wash your clothes too. There is a DVD player and a satellite receiver.

There is no lift so we had to carry from stairs our luggage. The air-conditioning is time operated, you set the max time to 1 hour and then you have to renew it, during night (sleeping) period this is very annoying, you need to have it through the whole night and not just for an hour!!!!

Useful and accommodating staff, it was very very good stay.

Many things to mention - everything was fairly clean, LOCAL food, magnificent views. The room was nicely decorated and spotless, with very good facilities. A microwave oven, an electric kettle and refrigerators worked well.

Is it hype or the real deal?

Especially Angeliki and Peter. The apartment was well-equipped and inviting, and the pool area was a tranquil haven!

Noise from neighboring units was occasionally disruptive, and the lack of food services on-site meant dining required trips to nearby restaurants.

Not sure who's to blame, the Resort or the inaccurate info on you site - there were no bike rental on site, even this was one of the reasons we choose this place, for that matter...

The apartment is spacious, well-maintained, and offers beautiful views from the balcony. The pool area is serene, surrounded by lush gardens. The proximity to local dining options is a big plus.

The Wi-Fi connection can be unreliable during peak times, quite inconvenient.

The apartment was HUGE! Clean and a well-equipped kitchen made breakfast easy. The pools were not crowded, so the kids had plenty of space to splash around.

It wasn't exactly a bargain but still reasonable for what we got.

The little village of Mandria is just a short walk away, providing several good restaurants for dining and a small shop for necessities. The kitchen lacked some basic supplies like salt and sponge, which would have been a nice touch. Public transport options weren't very reliable, so arranging a car would be a smart move. We noted some noise from the pigeons on our balcony, a bit disruptive. Despite these minor inconveniences, the stay was enriching with delicious food and a restful place.

Spacious villas with private pools offer a nice retreat, providing ample room for families. The nearby dining options include several local tavernas with decent variety, perfect for sampling the local cuisine.

The accommodations fell short with cold and damp conditions upon arrival, requiring heating for days until things warmed up. There were also cleanliness issues like ant problems and overlooked maintenance-saw some mouse droppings, a bit off-putting. Expect to hear a fair bit of noise from neighboring villas, particularly if sound travels through the thin walls.
